Kailua Beach - voted the best beach in the world by somebody at some point, I was told. Pity I had my wallet stolen here. The view over Lanakai Beach - the most exclusive spot on the Winward side of Oahu. Chris's single speed for getting around Honolulu with attitude. Ralph Dobson snapped at Hoomalahia Park near where he lives. Not too shabby! This one might get used in the new Bike Friday catalog. Artwalk. L to R: Ralph, Bernice, David Lam (NY BF dealer), Val, Chris (Hawaii Bicycling Coordinator), moi.

A gecko on Mukta's chair. 'I ride my Pro Petite most often because I don't have to take off the front wheel and can just stick it in the back of my car. Don't tell them I have a giant gas guzzler though,' says Jeri. Jeri El-Swaify in Ralph and Bernice's Kaneohe back yard. Not too shabby, right? You don't have to own a multi-million slab of real estate to enjoy it's surrounding. The Lanikai loop is a nice little bike ride. Gals of Bike Friday - tyhe Galfromdownunder and BF Club of HI co-leader Jeri El-Swaify, hired by the Hawaii Bicycling League to teach schoolkids how to ride a bike.

Bit of a cheesey shot I know. Sorry. This is called a 'beach access'. All of Hawaii's coastline must be accessible to the public. Kailua, Oahu. Bernice, artist and teacher at the Academy, let me homestay for almost a month at her fantastic Kaneohe home. That's aloha! Coconut island, where marine biology research is done. Another cheesy bike shot, heading up the coast from Kailua.
