Eleanor's constant companion, Arno. Men take note! Hopkins Vineyard, New Preston, CT, The louded Good News Cafe in Woodbury, CT. Too much cayenne pepper in everything for Eleanor and my tastes... John Whitton-Bria, Pocket Rocket owner of Pound Ridge, CT Now just look at that expression .. what's she thinking?

John Whitton-Bria test rode a bunch of folders for the NYT style section in conjunction with athlete and journo Stefanie Jackenthal. The Whitton-Bria's stunning garden is a dot on the local garden tour map. One of John's paintings. That's his day job! Now there's a neat idea for a mirror ... paint it! The Galfromdownunder and the Pro Petite in a classic garden.

Heidi and Daryl Hawk, my other CT hosts, in their dream garden in Wilton, CT See http://www.hawkphotography.net/ OCT 3, 2006: My Route66 by Bicycle Movie showing to the Appalachian Mountain Club, Bethel, CT. Michael Faison, an astronomer at Yale, came all the way from New Haven on the train with his new Friday - because he could! Betsy (www.heavenstobetsy.com), architect Kevin Blomberg and Globe-Pequot Sales Director Chris Brimm all came to my Route66 Bethel CT talk - they're already starting to drink the Friday Kool Aid! Some serious post-presentation winding down in a local pub! The Bike Friday catalog is never too far away ..
