Hip work wanted sign. Useful things like arty cheese shaped door jams etc The Head of the Charles Regatta (I think that's what it was called), one of the biggest rowing meets in the country. Two vehicles of silent, human powered motion.

Cambridge digs. (removed) Testing out my host's $230+ Downtube folding bicycle. A bit heavy at 25 lbs, not bad for the price, but of course, doesn't ride like a Friday! The Downtube resembles a Friday or Dahon in the shadows and has a definite 'aluminum folder' ride. Ahhh, that's better. Setting off from Cambridge down Route 30 to my next talk, for the Massbike/Charles River Wheelman in Natick, 17 trailer pullin' miles west.

Home of the famous Sheldon Brown, bicycle grand poo bah...go google him. Send him some well wishes, his cycling legs aren't cooperatiing fully at the moment according to his blog. What would Sheldon think of my Friday? Pity the store wasn't open on a Sunday, thought I believe he's there mid-week. On the road through the fall colors of West Boston. A rare self-inflicted tripod shot of me on arrival at my hosts Dick and Jill Miller's house in Natick, West Boston. Building 19 (and 1/5), bargain basement wiht a disarming marketing shtick.
