Riverside coffees are becoming a premium in Australia - can the classic frugal cyclist continue to indulge? Certainly - if they have a Bike Friday, they end up buying less gas! Brisbane BF clubbers on their fabulous riverfront path - such a friendly bunch! No room for mother anymore --- time she got a tikit to ride! Rudy leads our BF Club of Brisbane ride, while "thinking of getting a BF for our frequent oversease trips." Paul, Katy and May - triple treat

Just doesn't quite have the same ring as "Rodeo Drive" or "Champes Elysse", right? Redcliffe Beach, north of Brisbane. As good as the best beach in Hawaii. Scarborough, delightful end of a 8 km path near Redcliffe. The last time we all got together was 10 years ago in Melbourne. Jennifer Weiley, me, Greg Macainsh at Mecca Bar in Brisbane. Phil Smith of ABF Radio Brisbane interviewed me at Epic Cycles on "At what point do people say 'enough' and start driving less?" See interview at http://www.bikefriday.com/australia08

A great crowd at the Bike Friday Adventure Film Fest hosted by BF dealer Epic Cycles in their converted gas station shop. Who wants to buy a BF now? Visit http://www.bikefriday.com/australia08 for the movie clip. Jerryn Zwart of www.pedbiketrans.asn.au, a group that networks transportation industry professionals, struts her organization's stuff at Burn Carbs Not Hydrocarbs Brisbane. Alton Twine shares the latest goodies from Brisbane City's latest bicycle planning efforts. Like new signs that make sure you don't get lost on bike routes. We're looking for old bikes and old wheels to decorate our walls, says Andrew Onley - take heed, overstocked bicycle museums! John Hack was just an enthusiastic bicycle commuter, and took it where few men have taken things before... like Mayor Daley of Chicago.
